EXPLORING ILLUSIONISTIC SPACE

Janus Portal series are designed to look like entrances opening into a hidden, shrine-like space, remote from everyday reality.They are intended as a visual metaphor for an inner journey. The perspective infinity point is variably light or dark, suggestive of ending and starting. As with Blue Portal series they are intended to produce a contemplative or meditational response in the viewer.
